Tomorrow land. A world beyond - movie

Today I'll publish the first movie! 

"Tomorrowland" is a movie for those who like adventure and mystery. All publics must like it, even though it's a little bit childish. When you know that it is a futuristic movie, you think in robots and marvellous things, but this one is more coherent and realistic.

As usual, the translation of the title to Portuguese is not that good: Tomorrowland - Um Lugar Onde Nada é Impossível.  

Today I invite you to watch the trailer and invent an end to the movie, if you've already watched it, invent your ideal end! It doesn't need to be right, use your imagination!

Supernatural - season 11, episode 14

Hi everybody!

I've just watched the episode fourteen! It was really cool!

But let's focus a little bit on english learning... 

Beginning from the title, which is "the vessel". What's the first word that comes to your mind when you want to translate "navio"? Of course it is "ship", but it can also be translated as "vessel". This word can be "embarcação" or "barco" too.

However, the most curious and interesting thing is that "vessel" can be "receptáculo" as well, and it is in this episode that Sam and Dean discover that Lucifer is in Castiel's body. 

- So, we all know that translation is not very efficient in terms of aquiring a second language, but sometimes it is necessary, especially to interpret metaphors in English.

For example: "You came when the trees' leaves were falling" translated as "Você veio no outono", does not give us the opportunity to understand and interpret the sentence. 

 Saying this, it's time to do a translation exercise! Try to translate preserving the metaphors and expressions.

Supernatural's week - Season 11 Episode 10 (partes do enredo são contadas)

Hello people!

I've watched episode 10 of Supernatural's 11º season today. 

It was amazing because I specially like episodes in which there is the continuation of the plot. Also, Lucifer's cage's roll was resolved, even in a bad sense.  

Personally, I thought that some things were a little predictable, like the death of Rowena. Other thing, is the insistent saving of one of the Winchesters.

At last but not least, it was, as usual, an open final that made us looking foward to see episode eleven!
